Day Seven

Today I gave a class in Fabric Collage, so my Day 7 is one of the collages I did for the class. It is made with fabric and paper with a little gold foil. I may want to do more with it, but then I always think that. I belong to a studio with 7 other women fiber artists, called the Lowell Fiber Studio at Western Ave Studios in Lowell. Today Western Ave Studios had a Open Studio day (the first Saturday of each month). I played with more collage there. At 5:30 all the studios joined up for a pot luck dinner. Great fun and great food and I'm tired, but think I have just enough energy to watch the Patriots tonight.

Karen, the collage is very evocative. I especially like the subtle bit of Asian lettering. Does it have a name?
